Los Angeles native Enrique Melendez grew up enamored by fashion. It is that deep rooted passion that makes his work so memorable and innovative.
Enrique’s career began working with The Black Eyed Peas. Gradually stepping into the roll of creative director and stylist for the group, he then became chief stylist for founding member and Grammy Award winner Will.i.am..
World tours with the group opened a lot of doors for Enrique; Notably, one to Bruno Mars, which led to more touring, videos and album covers on top of his already impressive list.
As if costume design for the worlds top musicians wasn’t talent enough, Enrique has the rare gift of dressing youth in a manner that doesn’t feel inappropriate or overdone. He is a master at keeping it playful and fresh, even in head to toe Gucci.
He has worked with the new face of Neutrogena, Jenna Ortega, for a number of years, putting her on the style map and shaping her into a red carpet darling.
This wide generational range and gift of iconic styling has brought many to work with Enrique, including Jason Derulo, Algee Smith, McKenna Grace, and Lonnie Chavis.
